New Plasma Machine Now Operating!

SFI-Gray Steel, Ltd. has expanded its flamecutting capabilities, completing the installation of its new 200-Amp MG Titan Plasma-cutting machine. With cutting speeds up to 200 inches per minute on 3/16? plate and travel speeds up to 1000 inches per minute, SFI-Gray now offers its customers state of the art efficiency and cutting of thinner plates, complementing its traditional oxyfuel cutting services.

Nearing the first anniversary at its new location at 3511 W. 12th Street, Houston, Texas, this addition enables SFI-Gray to even further specialize the job handling within its shop. SFI-Gray has dedicated an entire bay for this machine, with two full-size tables positioned end-to-end, allowing almost non-stop cutting to minimize the turnaround time for customers? jobs. Not only has this significantly enhanced SFI?s efficiency on jobs cut with this machine, but it is has enabled SFI to further specialize its other 10 oxyfuel machines to speed its overall job turnaround capabilities as well.
